This sucks. The wiiU gamepad just screams always on pip boy.
The newer plasmas are so much better at burning. Sure, leaving it on for 9 hours on pause will cause some image burn in but I have a Sammy 43 inch plasma in bedroom and for movies and sports it looks fantastic. My led in the living room has a gaming mode and works really well for video gaming.
That depends on what you like playing. I will take an engorssing SP game over some shoot em up MP game any day. For me, TLOU is one of gamings finest creations. Great story, great gameplay, awesome atmosphere and replay ability.
Give me that over frag-fests any time.
I think the pieces of eden puzzles from Ac2 and the naval battles from AC3 were the most enjoyable parts of the games. Aside from actual stealth assassinations....er, when did those dissapear, anyway?
The worst? Fricking escort missions. Follow me missions. Oh here is a great battle now stand still and press "x" missions. Ubi has totally taken away what made the series great. Player controlled, stealth assassinations.
I disagree, respectfully. Connor's frontier was badass but he as a character was dull, dimwitted and narcissistic.

Bath I would be totally with you except for one thing.... The naval battles. Those were so much fun that if the new installment has say, triple the amount of AC3 I am all over it. Heck, they need to make a AC game that is nothing BUT those ship battles.

I also feel there are folks who have emotional dogs in the race. For me, I got burned pretty hard by MS. I was never one to care who made what and I even slept outside best buy on the 360 launch. 3 red rings later, the inability to unlink my credit card from the system without having to call in and get talked down to by ms reps motivated me to by a ps3 in 2008ish.

Agreed. People can argue til the cows come home about what is better but I know in my heart that when Sony 1st party exclusives start dropping next year its gonna be some of the best games I've ever seen.

Payday was my sleeper hit this year. I have strayed from online mp since mw1 and jumped head first into engaging SP games. My buddy talked me into downloading it when it hit plus and, man, I have not had that online happy, yelling at my guy to "run run run Damnit!" since the old rainbow 6 days.

I really want more info on this game. I k ow a guy who has friends that are beta testing it and they can't say much due to NDA but he said every time he does ask about it their eyes go big and they say, "holy crap dude! Just wait! You are going to lose your mind!"
Needless to say I'm intrigued.
PS. His friends are die hard elder scroll players from PC days.
